Marketing Director

Up to £70,000 + Bonus
We are working with a fast growing live entertainment company delivering large scale, ticketed experiences across the UK. They are now seeking a commercially sharp, operationally strong Marketing Director to take full ownership of the day to day marketing function and drive sustained ticket sales growth across a diverse event portfolio.
This is not a "strategy-only" leadership role. Our client is looking for someone who leads from the front, hands on, data driven, and performance focused, capable of owning campaigns end to end and building a high performing marketing engine.
The Opportunity
You will take responsibility for planning, executing, and optimising multi-channel campaigns that directly impact ticket revenue. Working closely with the founder, you will gradually assume full oversight of ongoing marketing operations, enabling the business to scale efficiently. Success in this role will be defined by ticket sales growth, campaign ROI, and your ability to independently lead and evolve the marketing function.
Key Responsibilities
*Lead and execute the day to day marketing strategy across all ticketed events
*Drive ticket revenue through commercially focused, data-led campaign planning
*Manage and develop a team of 3 - 4 marketers across paid media, social, CRM/email, and offline channels
*Oversee campaigns from launch planning through on-sale, peak sales windows, and final push activity
*Analyse sales trends, customer insights, and campaign metrics to optimise performance
*Deliver fully integrated 360° campaigns including digital advertising, social media, email, partnerships, PR, influencer, and OOH
*Manage agency relationships and internal stakeholders with clear accountability and KPIs
*Set budgets, performance targets, and channel benchmarks
*Align marketing timelines with event launch schedules and ticket release strategies
*Identify growth opportunities, new audience segments, and innovative routes to market
Experience:
*Senior marketing leadership experience
*Background within live events, festivals, concerts, ticketed attractions, or other high-volume consumer sectors
*Proven success driving ticket sales or direct-to-consumer revenue through multi-channel campaigns
*Strong budget management experience with a clear ROI focus
*Deep understanding of paid media, social, CRM/email, PR, partnerships, and OOH
*Hands-on leadership style, comfortable in the detail as well as setting direction
*Experience building and mentoring small, high-performing teams
*Strong commercial mindset with a conversion-led approach
*Confidence analysing sales data and performance metrics
*Ability to thrive in fast paced, launch driven environments
