The Role
The Systems Accountant will support the development, maintenance, and optimisation of the organisation’s financial systems.
Key points:
• Enhance and support Business Central and Salesforce functionality
• Improve data flows and financial processes
• Identify automation opportunities using AI and new technologies
• Support upgrades, testing, and system development
• Provide training and guidance to Finance and wider teams

Main Duties
The postholder will ensure that finance systems operate effectively, reliably, and in line with organisational needs.

Key duties include:
• Configure, maintain, and improve Business Central and related workflows
• Ensure accurate, efficient data integration between Business Central, Salesforce, and other systems
• Troubleshoot system issues and provide user support
• Develop reports, dashboards, and documentation
• Lead on process improvements, automation, and AI-driven optimisation

The Successful Candidate
*A part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent) with strong systems knowledge and problem-solving ability.
• Experience with Business Central and Salesforce is highly desirable, as is a background in the charity or non-profit sector.
• Enthusiastic about technology, automation, and applying AI to streamline finance processes.
