Courier Van Driver – South East London
We are currently looking for reliable and motivated Courier Van Drivers to join a busy parcel delivery operation based in South East London. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working independently, managing their own route, and being part of a fast-moving delivery environment.
The position offers consistent weekday work with structured delivery routes and a supportive operations team to help keep your day running smoothly.
Position Details
*Location: South East London
*Start Time: Between 8:00 AM and 9:00 AM depending on daily route allocation
*Shift Length: Approximately 8–10 hours per day depending on route volume
*Working Days: Monday to Friday (no weekend work required)
*Pay Rate: £14 per hour
*Type of Work: Multi-drop parcel delivery within a designated delivery area
Drivers will begin their day at the local depot where parcels are already organised for loading. Once loaded, you will follow a planned route within South East London delivering parcels to residential and commercial addresses.
Key Responsibilities
*Load parcels into the vehicle at the start of the shift and organise them efficiently for the route
*Complete multi-drop parcel deliveries within your assigned delivery area
*Ensure parcels are delivered safely, securely and within the expected delivery timeframes
*Use a handheld device or delivery app to scan and confirm deliveries
*Maintain a professional and courteous approach when interacting with customers
*Follow all road safety regulations and company delivery procedures
*Report any delivery issues or route delays to the operations team when necessary
Requirements
*A valid UK driving licence with no serious driving convictions
*Previous multi-drop or courier delivery experience is essential
*Good knowledge of driving within London and or the ability to follow GPS route planning
*Strong time management and the ability to work efficiently under time pressure
*Good communication skills and a professional attitude when representing the service
*Ability to work independently and handle a physically active role
