Overview
A thriving accountancy firm is looking for a Bookkeeper to join their team. Known for their supportive culture, this firm offers a full range of accountancy, taxation, payroll and advisory services.
This is a Full Time Role Monday to Friday 37.5 hours a week with 4 days Hybrid working.
Salary depends on experience/qualifications.
Duties
*Managing day-to-day bookkeeping for multiple clients across a range of industries.
*Preparing and submitting VAT returns in line with statutory deadlines.
*Processing monthly CIS returns accurately and on time.
*Assisting with the preparation of annual accounts from both complete and incomplete records.
*Liaising directly with clients and HMRC to resolve queries efficiently.
*Providing oversight and support for the bookkeeping work carried out by colleagues.
*Attending relevant training and development seminars as required.
*Carrying out general administrative and office duties.
What we’re looking for
A successful candidate will have strong bookkeeping experience within UK accounting practice and live within a 1 hour commute of East Grinstead.
