A rare opportunity for an Internal Audit professional who wants to build something from the ground up.
We are supporting a leading global multi billion dollare alternative investment platform in the search for a SVP – Internal Audit to join their London office.
The mandate is clear: help build the Internal Audit function in London to service their global footprint.
Currently there is no local audit infrastructure in place, meaning this role will work directly with the Head of Internal Audit & Risk to design the framework, processes and governance structure from scratch.
The long-term vision is to build a team of four, with significant exposure to senior stakeholders across London, New York and globally.
Importantly, this is a builder role — roughly 80% building and 20% operating in the early phase.
Culturally the firm places a huge emphasis on hiring exceptional people who are very good at what they do but operate without ego.
There is also a clear longer-term pathway. As the function matures, the intention is for this individual to lead the Internal Audit function, with the current Head ultimately focusing on Risk.
We are particularly interested in candidates with 8–12 years’ experience within internal audit within private equity, asset management or investment platforms, with the ability to operate confidently with senior stakeholders.
