Job Title: BSL Primary Teacher
Location: Haringey, North London
Start Date: April
Contract: Full-time, Maternity Cover
Salary dependent on experience
A welcoming special school in Haringey is seeking a dedicated BSL Primary Teacher to join their team from April on a full-time maternity cover basis. This rewarding role involves teaching a KS2 class consisting of Year 4 and Year 6 pupils with hearing impairments in a supportive and well-resourced environment.
The successful BSL Primary Teacher will deliver engaging, accessible lessons and support pupils’ communication, language development and academic progress. The school uses British Sign Language as a key part of learning and communication across the classroom.
This role would suit a Qualified Teacher of the Deaf or an experienced BSL Primary Teacher with strong BSL skills and a passion for inclusive education. Teachers with classroom experience and confidence using BSL are strongly encouraged to apply.
