Do you have the credit experience to assess SME funding facilities and support lending decisions within invoice finance?
This role is responsible for underwriting invoice finance facilities for SME clients. You will analyse financial information, assess credit risk and structure facilities in line with lending policy.

Key Responsibilities
*Assess new invoice finance applications from SME clients
*Review management accounts, statutory accounts and cash flow forecasts
*Analyse debtor ledgers including concentration, ageing and dilution
*Structure invoice finance facilities in line with credit policy
*Prepare credit papers for internal approval processes
*Liaise with sales, risk and operations teams during deal assessment
*Support due diligence and client onboarding activity
*Ensure all documentation and credit approvals are completed accurately
*Monitor risk factors identified during underwriting
*Maintain accurate records within internal systems
Skills and Experience
*Proven underwriting experience within invoice finance
*Strong understanding of factoring and invoice discounting structures
*Ability to analyse SME financial statements and trading performance
*Knowledge of credit risk assessment and lending processes
*Strong written and verbal communication skills
*High attention to detail and analytical capability
*Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines
*Experience using finance or CRM systems
