Job Description:
Finance Administrator, Tockwith | £24,500 -£27,500| Full-time (35 hours per week)
An established business based in Tockwith is looking to recruit a Finance Administrator to join its friendly and experienced finance team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in finance, as full training will be provided. The role focuses on purchase ledger processing and providing day-to-day financial administration support.
Key Responsibilities
*Processing and maintaining accurate purchase ledger records
*Scanning and matching delivery notes to invoices
*Checking, processing, and batch-posting invoices
*Handling invoice queries via email and liaising with suppliers
*Barcoding invoices and uploading documents to Sage
*Assisting with cash management and bank reconciliations
*Updating cashbooks and recording payments in Sage
*Supporting freelancer and supplier payment runs
*Updating cashflow forecasts (including weekly freelancer cashflows)
*Assisting with period-end procedures
*Completing supplier statement reconciliations
Skills & Experience
*Previous finance administration experience beneficial but not essential
*Strong attention to detail and accuracy
*Positive, enthusiastic attitude with the ability to work under pressure
*Minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade C or above
Salary & Benefits
*£27,500 per annum
*35 hours per week, Monday to Friday
*9:00am - 5:00pm with a one-hour lunch break
*On-site parking
