Job Description:
Aspire People are seeking a skilled HLTA to join a primary school team, delivering both academic and pastoral support across the curriculum. This is an ideal role for an experienced teaching assistant looking to take on additional responsibilities, including leading lessons and supporting classroom management.
The Role:
* Delivering lessons to small groups or entire classes under teacher guidance
* Supporting the planning, preparation, and assessment of lessons
* Leading interventions in Maths, English, and other core subjects
* Mentoring and supporting less experienced teaching assistants
* Promoting positive behaviour and classroom engagement
* Supporting pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development
The Ideal Candidate:
* Qualified HLTA with proven experience in a primary school setting
* Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment processes
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Confident leading lessons and interventions
* Patient, adaptable, and proactive
