Job Title: MFL Teacher (Modern Foreign Languages) – Secondary School
Location: Cambridge
Salary: £150 – £250 per day (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Agency / Temporary / Long-Term Opportunities Available

About the RoleWe are currently recruiting a Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher to work in secondary schools across Cambridge through our education recruitment agency. This role offers flexible opportunities, including day-to-day supply, long-term placements, and potential permanent positions.
The successful candidate will deliver engaging language lessons and inspire students to develop their skills in speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Teaching will primarily be across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of Key Stage 5 depending on experience.
We welcome applications from teachers who specialise in French, Spanish, or German.
Key Responsibilities*Plan and deliver high-quality MFL lessons in line with the national curriculum.
*Teach French, Spanish, or German across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable).
*Encourage students to develop confidence in speaking and understanding foreign languages.
*Maintain effective classroom management and a positive learning environment.
*Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback where required.
*Work collaboratively with school staff and MFL departments.
Requirements*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
*Experience teaching Modern Foreign Languages in a secondary school.
*Strong subject knowledge in French, Spanish, German, or a combination of languages.
*Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
*Ability to adapt quickly to different school environments.
