General Assistant required ASAP
Location: Belfast
Hours: Full-Time, Monday–Friday
Contract: Now until end of June
Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour (increasing to £12.71 from 1st April)
About the Role
We are currently recruiting for an Assistant to support a teacher within a busy and engaging school environment. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working within a school setting
You will work closely with teaching staff in the classroom and carry out general operative duties around the school as required.
Key Responsibilities
*Assisting the Teacher with classroom activities
*Preparing learning materials and organising classroom resources
*Carrying out general school operative tasks such as setting up rooms, tidying, supervision, and assisting with daily routines
*Always following safeguarding and school policies
Requirements
*Good communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude
*Must be willing to apply for an Enhanced Access NI check (cost supported by Reed)
*Availability to work full-time Monday to Friday
