Area Sales Manager. Construction
Remote based.
Up to £55,000 + Bonus + Car Allowance + Benefits.
Covering East Anglia across / East Modlands.
This global ’sustainable water infrastructure’ construction company is experiencing phenomenal growth and has exciting plans for 2026. Specialising in sustainable water infrastructure management, they deliver outstanding projects for some of the UK’s leading housebuilders, construction companies, industrial firms, and tier 1 engineering contractors.
They seek a Business Development Manager / Key Account Manager to manage their East Anglia / East Midlands region. The ideal candidate will be proactive, driven, and have a strong background in business development within the construction or civil engineering sectors.
Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Business Development:
*Develop and implement a business development strategy aligned with company growth targets.
*Identify and pursue new market opportunities in civil engineering, groundworks, street works, and infrastructure sectors.
*Target frameworks and recurring revenue streams, building on their company specialisms.
*Create and manage a pipeline of prospective clients and projects.
Client Relationship Management:
*Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs and identifying opportunities for additional work.
*Act as the key contact for high-profile clients and partners, representing the company in meetings, negotiations, and industry events.
*Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring repeat business and long-term partnerships.
Experience Required:
*Proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar role within the construction or civil engineering sector.
*Strong understanding of the civil engineering and infrastructure markets.
*Exceptional relationship-building skills and a robust professional network.
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
*Strong financial acumen and commercial awareness.
