Main Duties


As a Part-Qualified Accounts Technician you’ll enjoy a diverse and rewarding role, including:


*Assisting with the preparation of financial statements for a range of clients including limited companies, partnerships and sole traders
*Preparing and supporting the completion of personal and corporate tax computations and returns
*Supporting the preparation and submission of VAT returns
*Providing bookkeeping services and maintaining accurate financial records
*Using accounting software to record and process financial transactions
*Assisting with gathering and analysing financial information to support reporting and decision-making
*Working closely with colleagues to deliver high-quality client service
*Providing general administrative support to the team where required


Experience


Ideally, you’ll have:


*You will have completed your AAT Level 3 and be looking to continue your studies.
*Previous experience of working within a practice environment is essential.
*Good working knowledge of Word and Excel, and the ability to learn new IT skills quickly.
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proven accuracy, and an eye for detail.
*Outgoing, socially confident with a positive and friendly attitude.
*Takes the initiative, ability to prioritise, and meet deadlines.
*Professional and team orientated in approach.
*Analytical, methodical, and numerical.
