Position: Class One Driver
Location: Coventry
Hours: Various shifts available
Salary: £16 per hour
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Class One Driver to join our logistics team immediately. The role involves transporting goods safely and efficiently, including some trunk work and hand balling of deliveries.
Key Responsibilities
Operate Class One vehicles safely and efficiently in line with all driving regulations
Perform loading and unloading duties, including hand balling where required
Secure loads properly using straps and other required equipmen
Maintain accurate delivery records and paperwork
Report any vehicle defects or incidents promptly
Requirements
Valid Class One (C+E) licence
Proven experience using straps and securing loads
Ability to perform manual handling duties safely
Strong time management and organizational skills
Reliability and commitment to safety and compliance
