Production Operator

My client offer electrical mechanical connectivity solutions, and they are looking for a Production Operator. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to develop skills within their state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. You will be involved in various tasks such as picking, packing, building kits, palletising, and more, using the company’s ERP system to check inventory.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Perform picking, packing, reeling, palletising, and cutting operations.
*Check picking lists and print labels.
*Use the company’s ERP system to manage and check inventory.
*Work across different sections of the production facility as needed to meet scheduled requirements.
*Read and understand engineering drawings and diagrams.
*Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and quality.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with co-workers and managers.
*Team player, able to collaborate with others to meet deadlines and objectives.
*Flexible to work in different sections at short notice to meet production needs.
*Strong understanding of engineering drawings and diagrams.
*Committed to a culture of continuous improvement.
*Competent IT skills and strong attention to detail.
*Background in picking, packing, and warehouse operations, with experience using computer systems for inventory management.
*Excellent organisational skills, able to plan workload to meet shipping deadlines.
*Experience working within a recognised Quality Management System such as ISO .
*Driven, with a desire to learn and succeed, completing tasks within required timescales.
Working Hours:
*Monday to Thursday: 06:30 - 15:30 or 07:00 - 16:00 or 7:30 - 16:30
*Friday: 07:30 - 12:30
