Accounts Assistant—Hybrid. Coventry, Temp to perm
Reed Accountancy Coventry are delighted to be supporting a well-established business in Coventry with a temp to perm opportunity. I am seeking an organised, friendly and reliable Accounts Assistant to join their finance team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with numbers, takes pride in accuracy, and enjoys working as a part of a team.
Main responsibilities
*Purchase Ledger
*VAT payments
*Bank Reconciliation
*Managing standing orders, direct debits and allocating payments
*Handling supplier queries
*Supporting the month-end timetable and ensuring ledgers are closed on time
*Balance sheet reconciliations
*Carrying out supplier statement reconciliations
*Filing and general admin
*Handling incoming calls to the finance department.
This position would suit candidates who have good availability and can commit to a temporary to permanent role.
It would be an advantage (but not essential) if you’re studying towards an accounting qualification
