Our client, a reputable organisation within the education sector, is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join their team in Northwich, Crewe, and Winsford. This full-time, permanent role involves providing focused support to learners in a 16-19 study programme.
Key Responsibilities: *Providing one-to-one support to learners, helping them to access the curriculum and engage in classroom activities
*Working closely with the tutor to develop and implement effective learning strategies
*Supporting learners with Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs), ensuring their needs are met
*Assisting in the creation of an inclusive and supportive learning environment
*Collaborating with local authorities to identify and engage young people eligible for work placements
*Building and maintaining relationships with local employers to secure and develop work experience opportunities
*Providing reports and updates on the success of work placements and engagement efforts to management
*Ensuring that all learners experience a high-quality learning programme
Job Requirements: *Experience in health and social care, particularly in an educational setting
*Training experience, ideally with young adults aged 16-19
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*Ability to build effective relationships with both adults and young people
*Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
*Flexibility and adaptability to respond to changing needs and priorities
*Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other digital tools for managing documentation and communication
*A proactive, solution-focused approach to problem-solving
