Line Leader
Rotherham
Permanent Night Shift: Monday-Friday, 10pm-6am
Elevation Recruitment Group are proud to once again be exclusively supporting a global food manufacturer in their search for a Line Leader to join a brand new permanent night shift.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated team leader or production supervisor who enjoys leading people, driving performance and maintaining high standards across safety, quality and productivity.
Reporting to the Shift Manager, you will lead a team of production associates within either the process or packing area, ensuring operations run safely, efficiently and to the highest food manufacturing standards.
Key responsibilities of the Line Leader include:
*Leading and motivating production teams to achieve daily output targets
*Ensuring high standards of health & safety, food safety and GMP across the production area
*Monitoring production performance using KPIs and driving improvements where needed
*Ensuring production processes and documentation are completed accurately
*Managing staffing levels and supporting the effective use of agency labour
*Coaching and developing team members to improve performance and capability
*Supporting performance reviews and people management processes
*Working closely with engineering teams to respond to breakdowns and maintenance requirements
*Supporting audits, innovation trials and site visits
*Driving continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce waste
We’re keen to speak with candidates who have supervisory or team leader experience within a food manufacturing or FMCG environment, with the below skills & experience:
*Experience as a Team Leader, Line Leader, or Production Supervisor
*Previous experience working in food manufacturing or FMCG
*Strong people leadership and motivation skills
*Good organisational and communication abilities
*Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced production environment
*Basic IT and systems skills
*A proactive mindset with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement
