We are currently recruiting for an experienced Damp & Mould Surveyor to join a newly established specialist damp and mould team working within the housing sector.
*Loughborough, Leicestershire – Southfield Road, LE11 2TU
*£23.00 per hour
*Start ASAP
*1 Day Office / 4 Days On Site
*Own Vehicle Required
Key Responsibilities:*Carry out damp and mould surveys across residential properties
*Diagnose and identify causes of damp and mould issues
*Specify required remedial works and produce clear reports
*Manage remedial works through to completion using in-house teams and external contractors
*Take protimeter readings and record humidity levels during property inspections
*Ensure works are completed in line with housing standards and legislation
Essential Requirements:*Proven experience conducting damp and mould surveys
*Strong knowledge of Awaab’s Law and Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS)
*Ability to confidently identify, diagnose, and recommend solutions for damp and mould problems
*Experience using protimeter equipment to take moisture readings
*Experience managing works through contractors and internal teams
*Full driving licence and access to your own vehicle
