Job Title: Electrical Supervisor (Permanent Position)
Location: Southampton
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Electrical Supervisor to join our team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing electrical installations on mainly commercial and healthcare projects , supervising electrical staff, and ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and coordinate daily activities of electricians and electrical apprentices.
* Ensure all electrical work is completed to required safety and quality standards.
* Read and interpret electrical drawings, plans, and specifications.
* Plan and allocate work to ensure project deadlines are met.
* Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Liaise with project managers, contractors, and clients as required.
* Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and staff hours.
* Provide technical guidance and support to the electrical team.
Requirements
* Proven experience in a supervisory role within commercial & Healthcare projects (Industrial experience beneficial)
Relevant electrical qualification/certification.
* Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installation practices, and safety regulations.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
* Excellent leadership and communication skills.
* Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
* Full driving licence (preferred).
