Teaching Assistant – KS1
Start: After Easter
Days: Monday to Friday (5 days per week)
Pay:£90 per day
Location: Large primary school in DN4, part of a Multi-Academy Trust
Are you an experienced and confident Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding KS1 role after Easter? Reed Education are working with a well-established primary school in the DN4 area, seeking a dedicated TA to support their Key Stage 1 team on a full-time basis.
About the Role
*Supporting teaching and learning across KS1
*Working with groups and individuals to raise attainment
*Assisting with classroom management and behaviour support
*Providing targeted SEN and EAL support
*Occasionally stepping up to deliver class teaching when required
*Collaborating closely with teachers and the wider academy trust

About You
We’re looking for someone who:
*Has solid experience within KS1
*Is confident leading small groups and supporting whole-class learning
*Is comfortable taking the lead with class teaching when needed
*Understands a wide range of SEN needs
*Has strong knowledge and experience supporting EAL learners
*Is reliable, proactive and passionate about primary education
