Job Title: Customs Specialist

UK Staffing Group are representing our client in the search for a Customs Specialist to support the delivery and development of their customs and trade compliance services.
This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with experience in customs operations, who enjoys both hands-on processing and contributing to improved systems and processes within a modern logistics and trade environment.
Key Responsibilities * Prepare and submit import and export declarations using CDS and related systems.
* Handle NCTS transit movements (T1/T2) and supporting documentation.
* Create required ENS and port documentation where necessary.
* Verify documentation including tariff classification, valuation, and customs data accuracy.
* Liaise with relevant authorities and stakeholders to resolve queries.
* Work with the in-house development team to support testing and improvement of digital customs systems.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of UK customs regulations and procedures.
* Provide technical support to internal teams and clients when required.
About You * Experience in customs operations, freight forwarding, or trade compliance.
* Knowledge of import/export processes and customs systems.
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
* Confident working with systems and collaborating across teams.
