Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias)
Location: Sudbury
Salary: £47,500 + Excellent Benefits
Shifts: Monday – Friday (Days)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Engineer to join a leading FMCG manufacturing company with an outstanding industry reputation and significant investment planned across the site. Working within a highly skilled engineering team, you will play a key role in maintaining the reliability and efficiency of production equipment across a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
The Role:
*Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across production and packaging machinery
*Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults efficiently to minimise downtime
*Perform fault finding and troubleshooting on automated production equipment
*Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives across the site
*Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out in line with health and safety standards
*Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams to improve equipment performance
Requirements:
*Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting ability, particularly within electrical systems
*Electrical engineering bias with experience working in manufacturing or FMCG environments
*Experience maintaining automated or production machinery
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
*Relevant engineering qualification (Electrical / Multi-skilled engineering preferred)
