Salary: £12.71 per hour
Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Stores Assistant to join our team in Cheshire. This role is ideal for someone with experience working in a manufacturing or distribution environment who understands the importance of maintaining accurate stock control and safe warehouse operations. The successful candidate will support day-to-day warehouse activities, ensuring goods are received, stored, and dispatched efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
*Ensure all good are unpacked, received and stored safely & securely
*Making sure all goods for dispatch are sent out on time and packed to ensure safe, timely receipt by the customer
*Ensure that all materials and components are distributed to the designated manufacturing/production areas
*Identify training needs to assist your career progression
Requirements
*Previous experience in a Stores Assistant, Warehouse Operative, or similar role, ideally within a manufacturing or distribution environment.
*Good understanding of warehouse processes, stock control and goods-in/goods-out procedures.
*Strong awareness of health and safety practices within a warehouse setting.
*Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence & Reach Truck Licence (Distinct advantage)
*Full UK Driving Licence
