Maths Teacher - Arena Academy
The Supply Register, in exclusive partnership with CORE Education Trust, is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Maths Teacher to join Arena Academy in Birmingham.
As a Maths Teacher at Arena Academy, you will be part of a vibrant learning community that prioritises staff well-being and student excellence. Key Responsibilities
*Deliver Engaging Lessons: Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4 that inspire curiosity and a passion for the subject.
*Drive Standards: Maintain high expectations for student progress and attainment, acting as a positive role model within the department.
*Classroom Management: Utilise effective behaviour management strategies to create a safe, inclusive, and focused learning environment.
*Collaboration: Work closely with leadership and school staff to embody the cornerstone values of Collaboration, Opportunity, Respect, and Excellence.
*Assessment: Use data to inform teaching strategies and provide constructive feedback to support student development.
Requirements
*Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification is essential.
*Subject Knowledge: A degree in Mathematics or a related subject with strong curriculum knowledge.
*Compliance: A valid enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
*Attributes: Resilience, adaptability, and a genuine commitment to improving the life chances of young people in Birmingham.
