Job Description:
We are currently working with a well-established organisation in Sussex that is looking to recruit a Credit Controller to join their finance team.
This role will be responsible for managing customer accounts, ensuring outstanding balances are collected in a timely manner, and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities*Managing a portfolio of customer accounts
*Chasing outstanding invoices via phone and email
*Allocating incoming payments and maintaining accurate records
*Resolving customer queries relating to invoices and payments
*Reviewing credit limits and monitoring aged debt
*Supporting the wider finance team with month-end processes
Person Specification*Previous experience in Credit Control or Sales Ledger
*Strong communication and relationship-building skills
*Ability to manage workloads and prioritise effectively
*Good attention to detail and organisational skills
*Experience using finance systems and Excel
