Job Opportunity: Solicitor/Senior Solicitor – Corporate & Commercial/Corporate Tax (2+ PQE)
Location: Glasgow
Overview:
A great opportunity to join a specialist Corporate Tax team advising on the tax aspects of corporate, commercial and property transactions for a varied client base.
Role Requirements:
*Advising on the tax structuring of corporate deals, reorganisations and business disposals
*Drafting and negotiating tax documentation for transactions
*Advising on LBTT/SDLT, VAT and wider tax considerations for property transactions
*Supporting on employee share schemes and employment tax matters
*Providing clear guidance to colleagues and clients across multiple sectors
*Contributing to tax updates, training, client seminars and related materials
Experience:
*2+ years’ experience in tax, corporate, commercial or transactional work
*Genuine interest in developing specialist tax expertise
*Comfortable managing your own workload with supervision as required
*Experience advising lenders or corporate clients is helpful but not essential
Skills:
*Clear communicator with excellent attention to detail
*Analytical, organised and able to prioritise deadlines
*Commercial approach with a willingness to grow technical skills
*Collaborative mindset with interest in client relationships and BD activity
