HGV 7.5t Driver (C1) – Royal Mail – Exeter

Location: Exeter

Pay: £16.53 – £26.21 per hour

Pertemps is recruiting 7.5t (C1) Drivers on behalf of Royal Mail at the Exeter Mail Centre. This role is perfect for drivers who want 4–6 hours of work per shift, whether that’s part-time, extra income, or building full-time hours through shorter runs.

If you prefer straightforward driving without multi-drop stress, this is an excellent opportunity.


What You’ll Be Doing

• Depot-to-depot trunking between Royal Mail sites

• No multi-drop deliveries

• Driving clean, well-maintained Royal Mail vehicles

• Supporting the smooth movement of the UK’s mail network

• Some light loading/unloading where required

Requirements

• Valid 7.5t (C1) driving licence held for minimum 2 years

• 180 days commercial driving experience

• Driver CPC qualification

• Digital Tacho Card

• Maximum 6 penalty points (no DD, DR, IN, CD or TT offences)

• Understanding of driver hours and WTD regulations

• Willing to complete DBS check, site assessment and induction
