My client is seeking a diligent and proactive Warehouse Assistant to support a busy warehouse team on a temporary basis. This role involves a variety of warehouse duties, from picking and packing orders to managing inventory and maintaining warehouse cleanliness and safety. The position offers ongoing work and may lead to a permanent placement for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities For This Role Will Include:
Order Picking & Packing
*Accurately locate items for customer and internal orders
*Pack products safely and securely
*Prepare shipments and ensure all documentation is completed correctly
Goods In / Receiving
*Unload incoming deliveries
*Check items against purchase orders or delivery notes
*Identify and report damages or discrepancies
Inventory & Stock Management
*Organise and store goods correctly
*Label items and update stock systems
*Conduct stock checks and assist with audits
Warehouse Maintenance & Safety
*Keep all work areas clean and organised
*Follow all health & safety procedures
*Safely operate equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts (if trained/certified)
Logistics Support
*Assist with loading and dispatch
*Liaise with drivers and couriers
*Update delivery and dispatch records
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Physical fitness and ability to handle manual tasks.
*Great attention to detail.
*Proficiency in managing small items and using IT systems.
*Excellent team player with strong communication skills.
*Good time management skills and reliability.
