Are you a caring and motivated SEN Teaching Assistant looking to make a genuine difference in the lives of young people? Do you have the patience, empathy, and enthusiasm needed to support children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a supportive school environment?
A welcoming primary school in Reading is currently seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant who is passionate about helping children overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.
The Role - SEN Teaching Assistant
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with a range of additional needs. The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will work closely with the class teacher and other support staff to ensure each child receives the guidance and encouragement they need to thrive in the classroom.
Key responsibilities for the SEN Teaching Assistant include:
*Supporting the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities
*Providing one-to-one and small group support for pupils with additional needs
*Helping to adapt learning materials to suit individual pupils
*Encouraging pupil confidence, independence, and engagement in lessons
*Working collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals
Requirements - SEN Teaching Assistant
The school is looking for a compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant who is committed to supporting children with additional learning needs.
The ideal SEN Teaching Assistant will:
*Be patient, caring, and enthusiastic
*Have excellent communication and teamwork skills
*Be passionate about supporting children with SEN

*Previous experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant is beneficial but not essential
