Are you a detail-driven finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment? We’re looking for an experienced Billing Manager on a fixed-term contract, supporting a busy and well-established finance function. If you enjoy taking ownership, streamlining processes, and ensuring the numbers are always right first time, this role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a real impact.
About the role
This is a hands-on and highly transactional position, ideal for someone who takes pride in accuracy and efficiency. You will play a key role in ensuring billing runs smoothly, data remains clean and compliant, and stakeholders are supported with timely and reliable information. You’ll be part of a collaborative team and will quickly become integral to our month-end and revenue processes.
Key Responsibilities
Raising and processing sales invoices promptly and accurately
Maintaining standing data, including:
New supplier set ups
Bank detail updates
Adding and amending employee benefits
Other master data changes as needed
Ensuring all activity complies with internal controls and approvals
Investigating and resolving billing queries, working closely with internal teams
Supporting month-end tasks relating to billing and revenue recognition
Upholding high standards of data integrity across finance systems
What we’re looking for:
Demonstrable experience in billing, accounts receivable or another transactional finance role
Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
Confident working with standing data within finance systems
Ability to meet deadlines and manage high volumes of work
Clear and collaborative communication skills
Strong Excel capabilities, experience with Business Central is an advantage but not essential.
Why join us?
You’ll be stepping into a supportive environment where your expertise will be valued from day one. This contract offers the chance to bring your skills to a dynamic finance function, contribute to improved processes, and build strong relationships across the organisation. For professionals who enjoy ownership and operational variety, it’s a role that offers genuine satisfaction and the opportunity to make a measurable difference.
