About the RoleWe are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Pupil Support Worker to support Key Stage 1 pupils with SEN. You will help children thrive academically, socially, and emotionally, ensuring they receive the support they need to reach their potential.
Key Responsibilities*Provide one-to-one or small group support for KS1 pupils with SEN
*Assist teachers with differentiated learning activities and interventions
*Support pupils’ social, emotional, and behavioural development
*Encourage engagement, positive behaviour, and confidence in learning
*Work closely with class teachers, SENCO, and other staff to monitor progress
*Maintain accurate records of interventions and pupil progress
*Foster a nurturing, safe, and inclusive classroom environment
Requirements*Experience working with young children, ideally KS1 or EYFS
*Experience supporting pupils with SEN or additional needs
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills
*Empathy, patience, and a positive, nurturing approach
*Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
*Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil well being
