Digital Marketing Executive - 1–2 years in ecommerce or digital marketing or online merchandising
Harlow, Essex - on-site -£30,000 - £35,000 pa
We’re looking for a Digital Marketing Executive to support the day-to-day running and optimisation of international ecommerce sites. You’ll work closely with the Ecommerce Manager to keep websites trading smoothly, ensure products are presented at their best, and help deliver marketing activity that drives online sales.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys practical, day-to-day digital work and wants to grow into a broader ecommerce position - a great opportunity for someone with 2 years of experience who’s ready to take on more ownership and broaden their ecommerce skills.
Responsibilities include:
* Uploading new products onto websites and maintaining accurate product data
* Updating descriptions, images, pricing and availability
* Merchandising category pages and homepage content
* Supporting promotional activity by updating banners, landing pages and discount codes
* Monitoring daily and weekly sales performance
* Reviewing product performance and identifying opportunities to improve conversion
* Building and scheduling email campaigns
* Supporting paid media activity with assets, tracking links and product feed updates
* Pulling data from Google Analytics and ecommerce platforms
* Reporting on traffic, sales, product performance and customer behaviour
* Monitoring competitor activity, pricing and promotions
* Ensuring stock levels and product availability align with marketing plans
What you need:
* Around 1–2 years’ experience in an ecommerce or digital marketing role
* Hands-on experience updating websites or managing online product content
* Exposure to email marketing, CRM or performance marketing
* Confidence working with data and pulling reports
* Familiarity with ecommerce platforms such as Shopify, Magento or WooCommerce.
