Head of Accounting & Control
South Leicester | Hybrid (2/3 days office 2/3 days home)
We’re looking for a Head of Accounting & Control to join our medium to large sized client, a member-owned co-operative supporting over 1,300 independent construction related businesses across the UK.
Based at its South Leicester office, this role is a key part of the Finance leadership team, reporting to the Finance & Operations Director. You’ll take ownership of management accounts, financial reporting, cash flow management and financial controls, while helping drive financial insight and operational efficiency across the business.
You’ll also play an important role as the company enters an exciting phase of digital transformation, implementing new systems, technologies and AI to enhance how it supports its members.
We’re looking for someone who:
? Is a fully qualified accountant (ACCA / CIMA / ICAEW)
? Has strong experience in management accounts and financial reporting
? Can communicate financial insight clearly to senior stakeholders
? Enjoys working hands-on while maintaining strategic oversight
You’ll lead a small team and help manage financial processes supporting ~£200m of monthly transactions.
