Up to £29,000 + Full Study Support
Office-Based
Fletcher George are delighted to be working with a highly regarded and growing accountancy practice based in Borehamwood to recruit a Junior Bookkeeper / Accounts Semi Senior to join their friendly and supportive team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the early stages of their practice career who is looking to develop their technical skills, gain exposure to a varied client portfolio and continue their professional studies with full support.

The Role
Working closely with senior members of the team, you will assist with a broad range of accounting and bookkeeping duties for a varied client portfolio.
Your responsibilities will include:
*Bookkeeping for a range of clients
*Preparing and submitting VAT returns
*Assisting with management accounts preparation
*Supporting with statutory accounts preparation
*Assisting with Personal Tax.
*Liaising with clients to resolve queries
*General support to senior team members on ad hoc assignments
This role offers excellent exposure and is ideal for someone looking to build a long-term career within practice.
The Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
*Has experience working within an accountancy practice (minimum 1-2 year preferred)
*Has strong bookkeeping skills and good attention to detail
*Is studying AAT or looking to begin ACA/ACCA studies
*Is organised, proactive and keen to learn
*Has the right to work in the UK
