Regulatory Senior Solicitor (5+ years’) – Edinburgh
A well-established Scottish law firm is looking to appoint a Regulatory Senior Solicitor to join its growing team in Edinburgh.
This is an excellent opportunity to work at the centre of the firm’s regulatory and professional practice framework, supporting Partners and Solicitors with practical, commercially focused compliance advice.
The Role
Working closely with the Head of Risk & Compliance, the successful candidate will help ensure the firm meets its regulatory obligations while enabling teams to deliver consistent, high-quality client service.


Responsibilities will include:
*Advising on Law Society of Scotland and (where relevant) SRA regulatory obligations
*Providing guidance on conflicts, confidentiality, undertakings and professional conduct issues
*Developing practical guidance, tools and training for fee earners
*Supporting regulatory reporting and engagement with regulators
*Assisting with complaints handling and continuous improvement initiatives
*Contributing to the development of client-facing risk and compliance advisory services
About You
You should have 5+ years’ PQE, experience in regulatory compliance or professional practice and the ability to communicate complex regulatory issues in a clear, practical way.
