Cloud Desktop Engineer | £475 - £575 p/day | Contract (Outside IR35) | 12 Months | Hybrid (London)
Our client are looking for a skilled Cloud Desktop Engineer to design and implement cloud-based desktop environments. In this role, you will help the transition from traditional on-premises VDI solutions to scalable CDI platforms, ensuring high performance, security, and reliability.
This role is a contract (Outside IR35) which is based in London, on a hybrid basis, and is intially running for 12 months.
Key Responsibilities:
*Design and implement cloud-based desktop solutions using Microsoft Azure.
*Support the migration of on-prem VDI environments to cloud desktop infrastructure.
*Monitor and optimize the performance, availability, and scalability of cloud desktop platforms.
*Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to virtual desktops and infrastructure performance.
*Automate deployment and operational tasks using PowerShell scripting.
What We Are Looking For:
*Experienced in IT infrastructure and CDI/VDI
*Hands on experieince with Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop
*Strong PowerShell scripting skills
