Commercial Finance Manager

Salary: £65,000 - £85,000/annum
As a Commercial Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial future of
Noriker Power. Reporting directly to the Managing Director (MD), you will oversee financial planning,
analysis, strategy and management, ensuring that our operations align with our strategic goals. You’ll
collaborate closely with the Senior Accountant, Financial Controller and leadership team to provide
insights that drive key business decision.
Key Responsibilities:
*Accountable for all company financial activities and operations, and for regulatory compliance.
*Ensure key assumptions, risks, and opportunities influencing business and project performance are rigorously evaluated, clearly understood, and pro actively managed.
*Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and long-term strategic financial plans that reflect the organisation’s ambitions.
*Analyse financial data and performance metrics to identify opportunities, risks, and cost-saving initiatives.
*Identify and recommend opportunities for additional revenue streams and business expansion.
*Manage cash flow and liquidity while ensuring optimal working capital and developing new sources of project and business financing.
*Optimise the pricing of the company’s services, products, and assets.
*Maintain robust internal controls and ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax requirements, and internal policies.
*Present financial reports to the executive team, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
*Manage relationships with financial counterparties and collaborate with senior management to address critical financial issues with "zero-error" accuracy.
*Work closely with the Senior Accountant, Financial Controller and senior management

Qualifications and requirements:
*Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
*A professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, ICAEW, or AIA) or an MBA is highly preferred.
*5+ years of experience in financial management or a similar commercial finance role.
*Strong business acumen; In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, budgeting, forecasting, and a strong sense of task-based responsibility.
*Results-driven and self-disciplined leadership skills with the ability to influence and guide high-level financial decision-making.
*Exceptional analytical, organizational, and data-interpretation abilities.
