Reed Accountancy are recruiting for a temporary Credit Controller.
This role is hybrid; current model is four days working form home, one day in the office per week.
Main duties
*Proactively chase outstanding payments via phone and email.
*Manage and maintain the sales ledger, ensuring accurate allocation of receipts.
*Reduce aged debt and meet monthly cash collection targets.
*Build and maintain positive working relationships with customers.
*Resolve invoice disputes.
*Provide customers with copy invoices, statements, and supporting documentation as required.
*Prepare weekly debtor reports.
*Escalate problem accounts following company procedures.
*Record all communication and maintain accurate notes.
*Support with month-end processes including reconciliations and audit requests.
This role is temporary and will be for approximately 4 to 6 weeks – may be a little longer.
You will be proactive resilient, and results driven, team player with a can-do attitude.
Salary is circa £22.00 to £28.00 per hour.
Monday to Friday – Hybrid – 4 days work from home, one day office based.
