Accounts Assistant/Payroll Officer
Dudley - 33.5hrs per Week
Salary £25,000 - £28,000 (DOE)

Butler Rose Public Practice is delighted to be supporting one of our clients based in Dudley. They have an opportunity for an Accounts Assistant/Payroll officer to join their team.
Role Requirements-
*Assist with the preparation of year-end accounts and management accounts.
*Prepare and submit VAT returns in line with Making Tax Digital requirements.
*Process weekly and monthly payroll for multiple clients, including PAYE, National Insurance, and statutory payments.
*Submit RTI reports to HM Revenue & Customs and assist with payroll year-end processes.
*Maintain accurate financial records and perform reconciliations.
*Provide support to clients with accounting software and respond to queries.
Personal Requirements -
*Previous experience within a UK accountancy practice or payroll environment.
*Familiarity with accounting software such as Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, or IRIS.
*Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines.
*Studying or interested in studying Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) would be advantageous.
