Area to be covered: West Midlands, Staffordshire, Shropshire, Mid & South Wales, Gloucestershire and Somerset
Based: Ideally West Midlands
Remuneration: £35,000 - £38,000 + £8,000-£10,000 commission

The role of the Area Sales Manager – Blinds and Shutters will involve:
*Field sales position selling a manufactured range of components and fabrics for blinds and shutters
*Direct sell into small business end users historically
*All of your time will be spent selling direct to the trade via: shutter and blind manufacturers, installers, contractors, independent one man bands andsub-contractors as well as merchants and blind retailers
*Inheriting a well-established area only available due to an internal promotion
*Currently turning over circa £3m
*95% account management role, circa 120-150 active spending customers on patch
*Typically three customers per day (some over teams), four days per week, one day working from home/ admin
*Majority of your work will be in the West Midlands
The ideal applicant will be Area Sales Manager – Blinds and Shutters with:
*Must have field sales experience selling direct to the trade
*Ideally experience selling into small business end users
*Preferably some experience selling into manufacturers, installers, contractors, independent one man bands and sub-contractors or well as merchants/ blind retailers
*Specific knowledge or blinds, shutters id not required
*Our client is very open on field sales product backgrounds
*Must be able to plan your own diary
*Account management capability/ relationships building skills
*Friendly team player with drive and enthusiasm
