Job Description:
Senior Accountant to join our growing team. This role will involve managing a portfolio of clients and delivering high-quality accounts and related services, while supporting junior team members as required. You will work closely with Managers and Partners to ensure assignments are completed accurately, efficiently and to a high professional standard.

Description
*Managing a portfolio of clients including limited companies, sole traders and partnerships.
*Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts in accordance with UK GAAP and FRS 102/FRS 105.
*Preparing management accounts where required.
*Reviewing bookkeeping work and assisting junior team members with technical queries.
*Acting as a day-to-day point of contact for clients and responding to queries in a timely manner.
*Reviewing VAT returns and supporting corporation tax compliance processes.
*Ensuring assignments are completed accurately and within agreed timescales.
*Maintaining up-to-date technical knowledge and ensuring compliance with current accounting standards.
Profile
*ACA / ACCA qualified (or qualified by experience).
*Proven experience within an accountancy practice environment.
*Experience managing a portfolio of clients.
*Strong technical knowledge of UK accounting standards.
*Experience reviewing accounts preparation work.
