Job Description:
Here at SNG (Sovereign Network Group) we have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Technician Team Leader to join us in our Workplace Team, working from our modern office in Basingstoke.
You’ll be based in our Basingstoke office however there will be travel between our other SNG offices across the South as needed, therefore a full and current driving licence with access to a vehicle is required.
The Role:
As a Senior Technician Team Leader you’ll oversee and support the Workplace Technicians in the management and maintenance of the SNG workplace estate. You will be the first point of escalation for the Technicians, helping to manage their workload and ensure routine maintenance internally and externally of our offices and buildings are completed safely and at a high level.
You’ll provide technical guidance to technicians for a broad range of civil works whilst supporting the Workplace Manager in delivering regular training and knowledge sharing and ensuring 3rd party contractors are supervised appropriately.
What you’ll need:
*Previous technical experience within a similar role ideally within the Facilities Management sector
*Experience of managing customer focused teams for the delivery of maintenance
*Experience of managing high volumes and value reactive repairs and maintenance service
*Clear, confident communicator with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people both written and verbal.
*Team player with an enthusiastic, customer-focussed attitude and proactive approach.
*Self-motivated and creative with the ability to manage and prioritise workload effectively.
*Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects and working in confined spaces.
*Excellent IT skills with ability to present complex reports and manipulate data.
