Business Development Manager - Temporary Fencing & Hoarding
Job Title: Business Development Manager - Site Fencing & Hoarding
Industry Sector: Temporary Fencing, Hoarding, Fencing, Non-Mechanical Plant, Plant Equipment, Ground Support Services, Ground Protection, Construction Products, Construction Sales, Hire & Sales, Construction Site, Site Protection, Area Sales Manager, Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, Sales Executive
Area to be covered: National (ideally based Midlands)
Remuneration: £45,000 - £55,000neg + bonuses tbc
Benefits: company car & benefits package
The role of the Business Development Manager - Site Fencing & Hoarding will involve:
*Field sales position selling the hire & sale of temporary fencing & hoarding systems
*Public sector including construction, infrastructure and rail
*The majority of your time will be spent selling to main contractors, sub-contractors and house builders such as: Kier, Morgan Sindall, Vinci & Balfour Beatty
*A smaller element of the role will be spent managing distributor accounts such as Hermec and Safesite
*Turnover target will be determined by tour experience
*Predominately a new business position
The ideal applicant will be Business Development Manager - Site Fencing & Hoarding with:
*Must have field sales experience on site dealing with main contractors and house builders such as: Kier, Morgan Sindall, Vinci & Balfour Beatty
*Ideally contacts within the contractors with Quantity Surveyors & Project Managers
*Must have sold a construction site based product used in the early stages of the build process
*Highly self-motivated, enthusiastic and determined
*Must be able to generate new business
