Job Description:
My client is a respected global investment bank with an established FIG investment banking team in London and across Europe.
They advise clients across a range of FIG subsectors (in particular Insurance, Asset & Wealth, Specialty Finance) and are keen to recruit someone to help lead a strong junior team and to further enhance their deal execution capabilities.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced FIG banker (or from a prominent FIG corporate) operating on the cusp of VP or already operating as a VP.
Responsibilities will centre on:
*You will be responsible for the management of live transactions
*You will oversee the teams production of marketing presentations, Information Memoranda and other transaction documentation etc
*Begin to take a lead role in developing strategic ideas for clients
*Providing support to senior professionals with the development/maintaining of client relationships and new business generation
Required profile:
*Appropriate experience in Investment Banking and M&A
*Strong execution experience on end to end deals (closed deal experience)
*Demonstrable interest and experience in FIG
*Experience managing and mentoring juniors
*Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
*Ability to grow business and act entrepreneurially
