About the Company
Our client is a London-based hedge fund specialising in a value-driven, discretionary long/short strategy. The firm runs a lean, institutional platform and manages capital for a sophisticated investor base.
The Role
An Operations Associate is sought to support the COO across trading operations, fund oversight and regulatory reporting. This is a broad, hands-on role within a small team, offering exposure across the full operational infrastructure of the fund and the opportunity to take increasing ownership over time.
Key Responsibilities
• Broker onboarding and trade lifecycle oversight
• Control checks, reconciliations and exception monitoring
• Monitoring regulatory position disclosure thresholds (SEC, SSR, FCA)
• Supporting NAV oversight, fund expenses, audit and tax processes
• Preparing regulatory, exposure and performance reporting
• Maintaining governance logs and supporting board materials
Required Experience
• 2–4 years’ hedge fund, asset management or fund administration operations experience
• Strong Excel and numerical skills
• Detail-oriented, proactive and comfortable working across multiple systems
• Motivated by a broad role in a lean, high-performing team
