Job Description:
Cheltenham | £27,000–£29,000 + Bonus | Hybrid after 3 months
Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm
Are you detail-driven, organised, and confident working with data? Our client, a global insurance-related business, is expanding their specialist team and looking for a Data Reconciliation Administrator to support the processing of financial statements for clients.
This is a fantastic opportunity to develop niche expertise, grow within a supportive team, and build a long-term career.
The Role
You will be responsible for processing, reconciling, and fact-checking monthly and quarterly information submitted by clients around the world. These statements often vary in format and accuracy, so attention to detail is essential.
Key responsibilities include:
*Reconciling quarterly statements against policy information, ensuring premiums and figures match
*Fact-checking data and resolving discrepancies
*Sending queries and clarifications back to clients
*Processing reconciled information onto the in-house system
*Preparing formal documentation for stakeholders
*Working collaboratively with other teams
*Producing clear, accurate documentation
*Using spreadsheets (including pivot tables and formulae) to organise and validate data
What We’re Looking For
You don’t need to come from an insurance background, full training is provided.
However, you will need:
*A strong eye for detail
*High accuracy and methodical working
*Basic Excel skills (pivot tables and formulas are beneficial)
*Confidence in reviewing data and identifying inconsistencies
*Good communication skills for raising queries with clients
*The ability to work to varying deadlines — some tasks may take 1 day, others up to 2 weeks
You’ll be joining a friendly team of 3.5 (expanding to 4.5 with you!) who work collaboratively and support each other.
Progression & Benefits
This role offers genuine development with a clear path to becoming an expert in the field.
*Hybrid working after 3 months
*£27,000–£29,000 starting salary
*Annual performance bonus (up to £2,500 after your first full year)
*Annual salary increases for strong performers
*Supportive training and long-term progression
