What you’ll do
*Supervise classes in the absence of the teacher, deliver pre-planned work, and keep pupils on task.
*Manage behaviour positively and uphold school policies.
*Record attendance and provide brief feedback at the end of the day.
*Support the wider school as needed, duties, cover across departments, etc.
What we’re looking for:
*Strong classroom presence and clear communication skills (secondary phase).
*Right to work in the UK and enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
*Relevant experience with young people (e.g., TA, sports coaching, tutoring, youth work).
*Availability during school hours (Mon–Fri, term time) and the ability to travel to schools in Ashford.
