SFTR Regulatory Reporting Manager

What you’ll do:
*Provide expert guidance on Securities Financing Transactions Regulation (SFTR) requirements, ensuring all business units remain compliant with evolving regulatory standards.
*Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including operations, technology, risk management, and compliance to interpret SFTR obligations and implement effective solutions.
*Develop, maintain, and deliver comprehensive training materials and sessions for internal stakeholders on SFTR processes and best practices.
*Monitor industry developments and regulatory updates related to SFTR, proactively advising the organisation on necessary changes or enhancements.
*Support the design and execution of robust control frameworks that ensure accurate reporting under SFTR guidelines.
*Lead periodic reviews of existing policies and procedures, identifying areas for improvement and driving initiatives that enhance operational efficiency.
*Act as the primary point of contact for internal audits and external regulatory inquiries related to SFTR reporting.
*Prepare detailed documentation and reports for senior management, summarising compliance status, key risks, and mitigation strategies.
*Foster a collaborative environment by sharing knowledge with colleagues across departments, encouraging open communication and continuous learning.
What you bring:
*Extensive experience working with SFTR within a major financial institution or consultancy environment is essential for this role.
*A deep understanding of European regulatory frameworks governing securities financing transactions is required to provide accurate guidance.
*Proven track record in designing and implementing compliance controls related to transaction reporting obligations is highly desirable.
*Exceptional interpersonal skills are necessary for building trust-based relationships with colleagues across multiple departments.
*Strong analytical abilities enable you to interpret complex regulations and translate them into actionable business processes.
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills are vital for preparing clear documentation and delivering engaging training sessions.
