Client Account Administrator – Lettings Department
Location: Peterborough City Centre (High Street Estate Agency)
Hours: Monday–Friday, 09:00–14:00
Salary: £28,000–£30,000 pro rata
Contract: Permanent

Our well-established high street estate agency in the heart of Peterborough is seeking a Client Account Administrator to take ownership of the day-to-day financial processes within our busy lettings department.
This role is essential to ensuring rental income is accurately managed, tenant payments are recorded correctly, and landlords receive timely and precise payouts. Key Responsibilities
*Receive and record rent payments from tenants, including bank transfers, standing orders, and online payments.
*Allocate tenant payments to the correct property and tenancy within the system.
*Identify, flag, and follow up on missing or late rental payments in line with company procedures.
*Prepare and process landlord statements and payments on a weekly or monthly basis as required.
*Ensure all landlord balances are accurate, up to date, and clearly documented.
*Raise invoices for lettings fees and contractor charges when necessary.
*Record, track, and ensure the correct deduction of contractor invoices from landlord funds.
*Maintain organised financial records and assist with audits when required.
*Work collaboratively with the lettings team, property managers, landlords, and tenants to resolve financial queries efficiently and professionally.
Essential Skills & Experience
*Previous experience in an estate agency lettings environment.
*Strong attention to detail and commitment to financial accuracy.
*Excellent rapport-building skills with both clients and internal teams.
*Confident, professional communication style.
*Ability to manage workload efficiently and independently.
